The Last Swatch

Hey Darlings!
So here I finally end up my blog with my last swatch, hopefully, which is the last step of my project.

After sketching the same thing, the idea is to put Ohp sheet cut outs over the dress area and pour some glue and finally glam it up with color inks that will enhance the beauty of the swatch.
The sketch of my favourite swatch!!

Another Swatch

Hey people!!
The idea of my second swatch is that I'll put a few stems of plants altogether and then paint it with vibrant colours. Then I would put butterfly cut outs and pour some wax over all over.
The aim is to beautify the deserted and the dull.

Exploration !!

Guysss!! :O

Swatch exploration is equal to EXPLORING EACH AND EVERY CORNER OF MY HOUSE...

For projecting my essence, I had to collect materials like, sponge and brick powder, cement, wax, tree barks, tissue papers...and the list is endless :o

Photographed By - Sanya
I went through lots of videos from youtube and articles about the street art and graffiti, and finally found out how my swatches will look like. And I tried my level best to give you all my perception about graffiti.

So my this swatch includes a dress made up of inks, tissue papers and fevicol which gives an embossed effect of graffiti.

My First Swatch !!

Heyo lovelies !!

These are some of my explorations..which I did after a lot of sleep ..dreaming .. mind-boggling and then woof! Finally!!
My first idea of swatch

So to start with, I have used different mediums like soft pastels, oil pastels, plaster of paris, wax, brick powder. I'm still working on this, and then there are some other scribblings of the elements that I've directly taken from my theme.

Colour Board

My Color Board!!
“Nothing Stay Forever"
"Nature’s first green is gold,
"Her hardest hue to hold.
"Her early leaf’s a flower;
"But only so an hour.
"Then leaf subsides to leaf.
"So Eden sank to grief,

"So dawn goes down today.
"Nothing gold can stay.
😇

Truely said, colours are the basic essence of everything in this world. ðŸ•¶

My mood board is a type of collage consisting of images, text, and samples of objects in a composition that represents Graffiti as my topic.

Inspiration Board

My sudden brilliant idea that got me to this topic was Paints and Spray Cans. I was mentally stimulated by the grace of paints, that led me to do my research work on this particular topic. ðŸ˜»

Paints, Spray cans, aerosol, etc. are the crucial essence of Graffiti.

I wish to take my learning to a higher level with integrated approach on the subject, with proper execution of the given task.

Concept Board

“Rather than demolish an abandoned warehouse, why not just cover it with graffiti and call it art?
” ðŸ˜¼

This board represents my Topic of the Project. My abstract idea is to reach the essence of graffiti and then use that essence in my final product by making swatches.

Legitimation Of Graffiti

"Art is an evolutionary act. The shape of art and its role in society is constantly changing. At no point is art static. There are no rules.”

Initially , Graffiti paintings were considered illegal as they defaced the public buildings, this triggered to sharp criticism from the public. ðŸ˜°

How Graffiti Acquired An Artistic Status

Trust me, I had to research like a MANIAC, just to get a slight idea about what this art form is all about (no kidding)!💤
On 30th September 2006, an exhibition was organized by the prestigious Brooklyn Museum that presented the canvasses of the renowned graffiti artists who had contributed to the blossoming of this expressive art form

Through the works of Michael Tracy (Tracy 168), Melvin Samuels Jr. (NOC 167), Sandra Fabara (Lady Pink), Chris Ellis (Daze), and John Matos (Crash), the exhibition examined the artistic legitimacy of a mode of expression frequently presented as mere defacement of public space.

The City Of Paris similarly paid homage to these in TAG: Tag And Graffiti. The artistic redefinition provoked by this transplantation became more pronounced in the Early 80s, with major exhibitions organized in prominent art museums which presented selection of works by artists such as Jean Micheal, Lady Pink, Daze, Zephyr.👻

City Textures

“Speak softly, but carry a big can of paint.”

Hi! So, the whole point behind this ENTIRE PROJECT was to come up with a whole new creative idea for using a certain element from our topics and using that element for product development.😎

The new concept of City Art resists being caged within the walls in outlying areas. An explosion of creativity, new ideas and talent with thousands of artists from all over the worlds who display their unique and innovative works of art on street has now ruled the Streets.

HIDE N PAINT

Art is the only Salvation from the horror of Existence

So catch up and wrap up on this very interesting journey of THE ART OF MAKING GRAFFITI where you paint your Dreams On Walls in the silence of the land, with a paint bucket in the hand.
Every person in an urban cityscape has once observed the colorful, provocative, illegal and rebellious  “eyesore” and that is graffiti. It is basically the scribblings, scratches or decorative imagery applied by paint or other means to buildings, public transport or other property.👀

Mind Mapping

Hello there, everybody!😄

"Mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information."

So this is my first ever experience of writing a blog and this post is about the mind mapping that I did for my topic.
